About Game Set Mahj

Game Set Mahj is a free platform for the American mahjong community — built to make it easier to find players, organize games, and run groups without the text-thread chaos.

We started Game Set Mahj because keeping a mahjong group alive shouldn't require a spreadsheet, three group chats, and an email thread. Whether you host a weekly four, run a school club, or are just looking for your first table, we want the logistics to disappear so the game can take center stage.

The platform combines two things: Mahj Near Me, a growing public directory of mahjong groups searchable by city, ZIP, skill level, and game style; and a full set of host tools — scheduling, RSVPs, waitlists, reminders, and item sign-ups — so every group can run smoothly.

Built by a player
